History of Jimy Mac’s Pub

The Tudor style Rose and Thistle Pub and Restaurant was built in 1978. In 1988 a Cold Beer and Wine store was added to the property. The business was renamed Jimy Mac's Pub and Restaurant and was re-positioned to focus on sports promotion, quality food, and friendly service.

Extensive restoration and redecoration was done to the Pub. The Pub features two fireplaces, two patios, beautiful landscaping and seats up to 350 patrons when the patios are open. From our newly renovated kitchen, we serve four hundred meals per day. Not only do we enjoy the company of our customers but we have fun as well.

The Cold Beer and Wine store has a unique drive thru window (one of only six drive-thrus in BC!) and a wide selection of wines from around the world.

Since 1990 the business has enjoyed rapid growth and increasing community support. The Port Kells industrial park and the Walnut Grove family community have been key contributors to the pub's success. Jimy Mac's is a truly unique experience and welcomes new and old friends to stop in for a visit.
